When you don’t know what to do with your hands, and staring into the barrel of the camera gives you the shakes…

You’re not born with a natural instinct of how to pose or how to naturally smile when you’re quite obviously being documented.

You may feel awkward, but we won’t be unprepared

I know the feeling & I’ll give you grace

And as someone who is constantly behind the camera, this feeling in front of it is serious, but it’s also such a good opportunity.

It’s an opportunity to show yourself grace and lean into your quirks.

Feel weird? Lean into it

A big piece of what I do is styling shoots with you through accessories, props and location to best showcase who you are.

That, of course, includes making you comfortable even if you are fully clothed, you can feel very vulnerable in front of the camera.

Posing and styling and connecting with each other helps, but that doesn’t make you any more equipped to be photographed.

Be fully YOU & the rest will come

A big thing that I vouch for in each session is to always bring the weird. There is no idea that is too unique, too out there, or not doable when you work with me.

We can head to a discreet location where you don’t have an audience watching, you can wear what you’re most comfortable in, as silly as it is.

You can quite literally put on a mask and that shows just as much of who you are.

I absolutely love having sessions that I’ve never done before, even something unique that brings out the passion and silliness in my clients.

Awkward?! NO – Authentic?? YES!

This alien love session with florals and makeup and masks that we did in an industrial parking lot is seriously the full picture of no limits when it comes to our styling.

You can see the love and passion in their eyes, and that’s what I’m here to capture.
